Four Steps to Rigging the Plastic Worm

First step is to pass the line through the slip sinker and tie the line to the hook. Push the point of the hook into the center of the worm about one-half of an inch

Step One

Second step is to bring the point of the hook out of the worm one-half inch back from the head.

Step Two

Third step is to pull the hook back through the worm until the eye of the hook disappears into the head of the worm one-fourth of an inch. Rotate the worm on the hook until the point of the hook is pointed up.

Step Three

Fourth step is to touch the point of the hook to the worm - hold the worm firmly and push forward on the hook until the point is inserted into the worm past the barb. When properly rigged, you should have a straight worm as shown.

Step Four
